“Welcome to Thurles – Birthplace of the GAA”

We are absolutely thrilled to officially unveil our brand-new “Welcome to Thurles – Birthplace of the GAA” signs! If you are commuting or arriving by train, you will now spot these beautiful new signs welcoming you at both main access points to Thurles Railway Station. As a town, we have such a rich sporting and cultural history.

We wanted to make sure that the very first thing visitors, GAA fans, and commuters see when they step off the train is a proud reminder of our heritage.  A massive thank you to the incredibly talented team at local company Designedly for designing these fantastic signs.

Next time you are passing through the station, make sure to take a look and let us know what you think!
