About Us
2Upskill Training & Coaching was founded in 2014 by two directors to offer courses on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) to the general public by classroom based learning. We specialise in management & staff training, personal development, HR consultancy & career coaching.
Location We are based on the LIT Campus, Thurles, Co Tipperary, right next to the renowned Semple Stadium. Thurles is a thriving town on one of the main national arteries within easy reach of Limerick, Cork and Dublin either by road or direct train link. Thurles is easily accessible by rail on the main Dublin-Cork, Dublin-Limerick and Dublin-Kerry lines.
HR Consultancy & Career Coaching Career coaching services are provided by our expert Miriam Durack, who has vast knowledge and over 25 years experience in recruitment and Human Resources, including Interview and CV preparation. Miriam also provides HR Consultancy to individuals and businesses.
Open all year round we offer a flexible choice of learning formats: Classroom based learning, Blended learning and eLearning training courses. These offer invaluable options for independent study, informal learning and varied communication channels with one to one tutor support.
Choice We offer an extensive range of courses through flexible Learning formats from Distance Learning, eLearning, Classroom & Blended Learning. Course Duration All QQI courses are short and part-time which are run during the day, (usually delivered 1 day a week over 4/6 weeks) e.g. (QQI Level 5 course is delivered over 5 days (1 day a week over 5 weeks).
Approved Online courses – We have partnered with Videotile Learning Ltd in order to offer students the latest range of approved training in all areas of Business, Health & Safety and Health & Social Care. Courses are all approved i.e. RoSPA, IATP, IFE, IIRSM & CPD. They meet all statutory training requirements and are easy to administer using an online control panel. Available at a fraction of the cost you would expect, this online training has the added bonus of a minimal loss of productivity through being efficient and flexible.
E-learning for employees Our one-to-one tutor led e-Learning courses are packed with all the information your employees need to keep your business safe and compliant and they are always up to date. Employers can enrol their employees on a number of courses at a time using our Learning Management System and will be able to keep track of their progress made.

Tutors: Our panel of tutors are specially selected to ensure students are getting the best in course delivery and value when enrolling on any of our classroom based courses. Our tutors are all fully qualified and highly experienced in their industry.
Accreditation As all NFQ (National Framework of qualifications) are quality assured, learners can be confident that they will be recognised at home and abroad. Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) has a responsibility to develop, promote and maintain the Irish NFQ. QQI also facilitates the recognition of foreign qualifications. All our Awards are fully Validated & Approved through our registered QQI Centre (No 3874R) Midas Business Support & Training Services (trading as MIDAS Group)
