Youth Work Ireland Tipperary (YWIT) is an organisanation that works all over Tipperary providing safe, non-judmental and confidental spaces and services for young people in Tipperary aged 10 to 24. Youth Work Ireland Tipperary, runs Thurles Youth Project from the ex FCA hall in Thurles Town. They are open Monday to Friday each week providing different groups and activities for the young people of Thurles and its surrounding areas. Everyone aged between 10 to 24 is welcome in Thurles Youth Project. Examples of groups ran by Thurles Youth Project are Junior Homework group, Junior boys and girls, Junior Board, Youth Committee, 1st year group, LGBTQIA+ group, Drop-ins, Driver Theory Support, Senior boys and girls with space for more. All groups are youth led with voluntary participation.
